The initial step to improving one's all around health is always to recognize that we're made up of four bodies: the physical or etheric, emotional, mental, and spiritual bodies. Each one is integrated using the other three and unless all come together optimally the average person will feel unhealthy, poorly, imbalanced, or sick.
The emotional is regulated by the limbic region with the brain. The mental is regulated from the cerebral cortex which, through nerve synapses connects and organizes the various parts of the operating brain to perform the myriad tasks used on it every second of each moment. The mental person is connected to the physical body via a network of nerves and muscles which actualize the brain's commands. The mental body also controls the circulatory, respiratory, crystallizing, metabolizing, catabolizing, assimilating, absorption, excretion, and endocrine systems.
Master Choa Kok Sui who formulated and developed the modern theories and methods of pranic healing helps to make the remark that "When the vitality person is working properly, then the physical body will probably be healthy". This is a paraphrase intended to communicate that by managing the functioning with the chakras the pranic healer can scan, cleanse, and energize every single chakra which needs it. These chakras or energy distribution centers are connected to the physical tissues, organs, muscles and nerves through the yin and yang meridians, connected through contact of the tongue towards the upper palette. The vitality body is held together by our aura which surrounds and connects towards the chakras.There are many colored auras according to each one's individual personality according to genetics and past lives. Using yoga for wellbeing is elaborate and multi-levelled. Yoga means "union with God". There are numerous forms of yogic expression but the main ones concern the application of poses or 'asanas' which strengthen and stretch the different parts of the body with all the goal of rendering your body stronger, more flexible, integrating the emotional, mental and spiritual proportions of the being by using mindfulness with the breathing to center the actions down in the mind to the body and chakra centers.
